Labora was established in 2011 with the aim to keep the tradition of letterpress printing and papermaking alive and thriving in Estonia. Combining illustrations with calligraphy and typography, Labora aims to add some beauty to the world.
Labora was established in 2011 with the aim to keep the tradition of letterpress printing and papermaking alive and thriving in Estonia. Combining illustrations with calligraphy and typography, Labora aims to add some beauty to the world.
"We make paper by hand out of natural materials and recycled paper. We do our bit to save the planet while we transform the most ordinary paper into a unique sheet of thick paper with a rough surface and deckle edges. We then print onto this handmade paper in letterpress, which allows a deep impression and rich colours".
